Webinar recording: Archival Collections Group Purchasing Pilot for Higher Education

The recording from the June 6th webinar ‘Archival Collections Group Purchasing Pilot for Higher Education’ is available to view: https://bit.ly/2ttRVIT

The pilot is based on a community-centred approach to lowering the cost of digital archival collections of primary source materials for use in higher education in the UK. It follows the simple market principle that the more that is purchased, the lower the price. No matter what Jisc band an institution is in, they will collectively benefit from the total number of products bought from that publisher, lowering the cost of acquiring digital archival collections for all who participate.

The webinar presented an overview of phase two of the group purchasing pilot that runs to 31 July 2018.
