Following on from our call for interest for the resource discovery training programme, we are pleased to announce the names of the institutions who will be joining us for the pilot programme.

Queen’s University Belfast

Middlesex University, Museum of Domestic Design and Architecture

University of Reading, Museum of English Rural Life

University of Sheffield, National Fairground Archive

UCL Institute of Education

We’re looking forward to feedback on the resource discovery training programme prior to the official launch in October 2015. Out introductory session took place today and will be followed by several webinars and face-to-face workshops. We’ll be sharing more stories and case studies as the pilot unfolds. #JiscSpotlight2

I focus on access and use of digital content in learning, teaching and research, offering guidance and support through the ‘Making your digital collections easier to discover’ online guide and training aimed at Jisc’s higher education members.
Additionally, I run the digital archival collections group purchasing scheme – an innovative purchasing model based on a very simple principle – the more products collectively purchased by our members, the lower the price for everyone involved.
