Discovering Collections, Discovering Communities #DCDC2014

The upcoming RLUK Discovering Collections, Discovering Communities #DCDC14 will explore the area of discoverability of digital collections and the potential to engage with different types of communities.

As part of the conference, on Thursday October 30th, Karen Colbron and Neil Grindley will be presenting a workshop entitled “Finding and Using Digital Collections: Do we need new tools?” Based on the outcomes of phase one of Spotlight on the Digital, and in particular the online guide Make your online resources easier to discover, this workshop will stimulate participants into thinking about the types of tools that may facilitate the discoverability of their digital resources online. The conclusions from this workshop will help to steer the direction of phase two of the project and the prototyping of tools for the community. For more information on the workshop see Discovering Collections, Discovering Communities
