JISC funding for WW1 OER

JISC invites institutions to submit funding proposals for a project to create innovative Open Educational Resources (OERs) around the theme of World War One.

The deadline for receipt of proposals in response to this call is 12:00 noon UK time on 5th December 2011.

Funding of £80,000 is available for a single project starting from January 2012 for 6 months. The project must be complete by July 2012; however institutional contributions may sustain the project in the embedding stage of the project until December 2012.

The full call can be found at http://www.jisc.ac.uk/fundingopportunities/funding_calls/2011/10/grantcall1711.aspx.

I work as Digitisation Programme Manager at JISC and am responsible, together with my colleague Alastair Dunning, for the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects that have been funded under the JISC Phase 2 Digitisation programme spanning 2007-2009. In addition, I lead on programme evaluation and programme support activities such as workshops and events, and work closely with the Communications and Marketing team.
