Content programme 2011-13
The JISC Content programme 2011-2013 builds on previous JISC Digitisation and Content Programmes which addressed issues related to the creation and delivery of digital content in parallel with the skills and strategies needed within institutions to support digitisation activity.
This programme has funded 24 projects and focuses on three different strands:
- Strand A: digitisation, creation and embedding of Open Educational Resources within teaching and learning
- Strand B: mass digitisation
- Strand C: clustering of existing digital content
Projects are placing particular emphasis on innovative approaches to the creation and delivery of digital content by working in partnership within and outside the educational sector and maximising the reach and impact of the content created.
